Document the earliest days of your littlest family member's life in his or her new home. This in-home lifestyle session incorporates the whole family (plus grandparents, if you wish) and is shot documentary style with a natural, candid feel to it. Your collection will serve as a timeless keepsake in your sweet family's story.

what's included:

year-round scheduling

Welcome Home Baby sessions take place in the client's home and are scheduled year-round, usually between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm, rain or shine!

location

We will take advantage of the rooms in your home that get the most natural light during your session, and do our best to document baby's nursery. Typically clients use two to three rooms of the home, like living rooms, family rooms and the primary bedroom.

LIGHTING

I will bring portable studio lighting, diffusers and other accessories with me to make sure that we have all of the technical ingredients covered. Clients should expect to provide electrical outlets in the rooms they'd like to use.

AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

I will share some best practices with you prior to our time together to make sure you feel supported and prepared during our 45-60 minute time together. Although, there is no clock - we will go at baby's pace, and if we need to take a quick break so baby can calm or eat, we will do that. All family members will feel included, with a special emphasis on the new (or seasoned) mom and baby.

HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGE FILES

Within two to three weeks of your session you will receive a link via the email provided to access your private, password-protected digital gallery. Each high resolution image is hand-retouched and provided in both color and black and white.

ACCESS TO THE HSC PRINT SHOP

Create albums, holiday cards, prints, canvases and other products right from your gallery in the HSC print shop. Orders are produced and shipped quickly straight to your home. Note: Print shop products are not included in your session fee, and are optional.
