Family Portrait Sessions

We'll create a beautiful collection of images of your family as you are today that you'll treasure for years to come. This 60-minute session combines traditional, posed portraiture with a modern approach to prompted candids to provide a variety of imagery that altogether reflects your family's season of life and unique personality.

what's included:

flexible AVAILABILITY

With both weekend and weeknight offerings, there is sure to be a date that will fit your family's busy schedule. Most sessions are scheduled a little over an hour before sunset, which varies throughout the year. Alternatively, morning sessions can be arranged by request, beginning no later than 9:00 AM. Something come up and need to reschedule? No problem. We'll find a day that works better for you.

location selection

Your intake questionnaire will give me an idea of your aesthetic expectations. We will discuss your desired location prior to your session.

AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE

Families will feel supported on set, with plenty of guidance and prompts to capture a wide variety of angles and poses. If your littles need a quick break to regroup, we will work at their pace to ensure the whole family enjoys their portrait experience.

HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGE FILES

Within two to three weeks of your session you will receive a link via the email provided to access your private, password-protected digital gallery. Each high resolution image is hand-retouched and provided in both color and black and white. You will have rights to download, print, post & share your images.

ACCESS TO THE HSC PRINT SHOP

Create albums, holiday cards, prints, canvases and other products right from your gallery in the HSC print shop. Orders are produced and shipped quickly straight to your home. Note: Print shop products are not included in your session fee, and are optional.

The HSC Experience

The full HSC portrait experience provides ample time and space for your family members to get comfortable with the camera, which is when the magic happens! Your full gallery will seem to tell a story, that you'll look back on and retell with loved ones year after year.

simple, flexible booking

Once you choose the date and time that works best for your family, fill out a short questionnaire and sign your contract, you're booked! I'll send you an invoice for your session fee, which is due on the date of your session.

a single affordable fee

No upselling or high pressure tactics at HSC. Your session fee covers your time on set, photographer's time and talent, and your full, high-resolution, hand-retouched gallery of image files. Your fee is due on the date of your session, or you can take care of it ahead of time.

on set experience

Portraits can be stressful. You're checking the weather daily, trying to figure out the family's wardrobe, praying your kids don't get sick or fall off their roller blades the night before the shoot and hoping the baby takes an amazing restorative nap. Listen, I'm a mom too. I get it! Let me take something off of your plate, though - I will guide your shoot. Once you step out of the car, leave it to me, mama! You just look lovingly at those adorable kids and that handsome husband, and I will do the rest.

who is included? & faq
