Hello, there! I'm Heather.
I specialize in creating warm, natural portraits that capture your family's essence as you are today. With a mix of playful candids and more formal portraits, I aim to provide a beautiful collection of images that reflect the genuine connection your family shares in its current season of life. I prioritize the session experience for my clients, and believe that the portrait-taking process should be an enjoyable experience for all family members.
02 what to expect
Session Guide
you're booked! Now what?
You'll receive an invoice for your session fee, which is due the date of your shoot. Time to start planning! Styling tips, including beauty and wardrobe tips, are in the client resources section below. I'll get in touch with you a few days before your session to confirm the details and make sure you know where to go.
During your session
Make sure your family is well rested and has had a good meal or hearty snack. I'll send you a location pin (if outdoors) so you'll know where to meet, and we'll get started right away. I'll guide your family through a series of poses, prompts and activities to inspire the mix of posed and candid portraiture you desire.
After the Session
I'll get right to work, selecting and hand-editing your gallery (approximately 45 images, plus each image in black and white). I like to send sneak peeks within a few days of the session, and my goal is to deliver your entire gallery within three weeks. You are welcome to order prints in the HSC print shop, or use the lab of your choice. If you're willing, please consider writing a review!
