Book a Session

We'll create a timeless collection of images that you'll treasure. Each session combines traditional, posed portraiture with a modern approach to prompted candids, providing a variety of imagery that altogether reflects your current season of life and unique personality.


what's included:

an easy booking process


After you complete your booking documents, you're all set! You have until the date of your session to take care of your session fee, which includes the portrait session and your digital gallery.


AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE


Families will feel supported on set, with plenty of guidance and prompts to capture a wide variety of angles and poses. If any littles on set need a quick break to regroup, we will work at their pace to ensure the whole family enjoys their portrait experience.


Hand-retouched IMAGE FILES


Within three weeks of your session you will receive a link via the email provided to access your private, password-protected digital gallery. Each high resolution image is hand-retouched and provided in both color and black and white. You will have rights to download, print, post & share your images.


ACCESS TO THE HSC PRINT SHOP


Create albums, holiday cards, prints, canvases and other products right from your gallery in the HSC print shop. Orders are produced and shipped quickly straight to your home. Note: Print shop products are not included in your session fee, and are non-obligatory.

Details & Pricing

Family Portraits

A 60-minute session scheduled outdoor at sunset or in the comfort of your home at midday (external studio lighting is provided for in-home sessions). Immediate family members only, please. | $300 Session Fee

Extended Family

A 90-minute outdoor session that includes any and all branches of your family tree, scheduled two hours prior to sunset. Print release rights provided to each participating family member. | $550 Session Fee

Engagement Portraits

An approximately 60-minute outdoor session scheduled a little over an hour before sunset with the love of your life to celebrate an engagement or anniversary. | $300 Session Fee

Welcome Home Baby

In-home family portraits scheduled mid-morning during the early weeks of your new baby's life. Includes immediate family & grandparents (optionally). External studio lighting is provided. | $300 Session Fee

Specialty Sessions

Got something in mind that's not listed here? I would be happy to discuss and provide a custom quote for a specialty session (ie. Senior portraits, Sweet 16, Mommy & Me, cake smash, personality portraits, etc.)

what if my kids don't cooperate?


I've got kids too- I get it! Kids have energy, moods and their own agenda. That's why my sessions are relaxed and fun and we go at their pace. I will guide your family with gentle prompts and playful moments so your kids feel comfortable, not pressured. The best smiles happen naturally!


I don't want stiff, awkward poses


Your gallery will offer a variety of images, so you'll have a mix of "bite and smile" posed portraits for the holiday card, as well as natural, candid moments that you'll be able to really feel when you look back at your images years from now.


i don't like complex pricing or upsells


No surprises here. One price, one gallery, no hidden fees. Your session fee covers the actual photoshoot, as well as your full, edited digital gallery of approximately 45 images (plus a copy of each image in black and white). While you are welcome to purchase print products from your gallery, you are under absolutely no obligation to do so.


i need my photos fast!


You'll receive your full gallery within three weeks of your session, so you can get treasure your images right away. I also love to send a sneak peek within a few days to give you the flavor of your gallery.


i want a photographer who actually cares


I take on a limited number of sessions each year so I can focus on making every gallery truly something special. Your family's story matters to me, and I want you to love every image.
